THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!!!
Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your DELL LATITUDE E6400 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
This video is like insurance for your laptop. With this video and some skills you will be always sure that at least you can try to repair your laptop. If it's broken you don't have to sell it or throw it away. You can find some new or used parts somewhere and change it. It maybe will be your new job or hobby. And if it didn't worked out you still will be able to ask somebody else to fix it.
So, just watch this video and fix your laptop.
Have fun and good luck!!

Review: Dell Latitude E6400
A review of the Dell Latitude E6400. This is a really great business class laptop! Here's a good written review, which (for the most part) still applies today: http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/dell-latitude-e6400.aspx
Specs of mine:
-Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 Penryn 3M at 2.26Ghz (Dual-Core, 3MB L2 cache, 1066Mhz FSB)
-4GB DDR2 PC2-6400 RAM 800Mhz
-80GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue - 5400RPM (SATA)
-Intel GMA 4500MHD - 384MB
-Windows 7 Professional SP1
-DVD-ROM Drive
-14.1" WXGA (1280x800) Screen
The price of an E6400 with these specs in 2009 was approximately $1,200+. Daang.
School Laptop Rebuild for Under $150 Dell Latitude E6400
Today I am going to take this Dell Latitude E6400 which I bought off eBay for $25 (USD) + $12 shipping and turn it into a highly responsive school laptop capable of running Windows 10 and modern Linux distributions. The system origionally shipped with an Intel P8700, 1GB DDR2 RAM, no HDD, and a dead battery. In this video I will install an Intel T9800 @ 2.93Ghz, Kingspec 90GB SSD, 4GB DDR2 RAM, and a new battery while staying within a $150 budget.
Total Cost of the rebuild was $129.99 leaving just enough (before hitting $150) to buy a genuine dell charger.
NOTE: After I finished this video I went back and investigated an issue I encountered in my previous video on this laptop. As many of my subscribers stated, these latitudes throttle performance when plugged into an aftermarket charger. I tested this using an aftermarket charger (the one I used in my previous video) and a genuine Dell charger (the one used in the video) and the difference was night and day. Once again, to reiterate I used a GENUINE Dell power supply in this video to ensure performance of the laptop was not hampered. Here is the video of the laptop in its original state: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxhai-9816c
